Boats are meant to be used. Not displayed. Not preserved for someday. Used. The only way to understand the water, the weather, or the machinery is to leave the dock and see what happens next.

Bilge Baboon exists for that reality. For boats that work, move, and earn their miles. For gear that gets worn, tested, and occasionally pushed harder than planned. Engine rooms, docks, bad weather, long days underway — those aren’t edge cases. That’s the baseline.

Things break. Plans change. Salt gets everywhere. Experience is earned one job, one problem, one passage at a time. If something doesn’t hold up to real use, it doesn’t belong here.
